I will love you both until my last breath, and you can always count on me to be here for you.

My dearest daughters, Lisa and Maddie,

You are the light of my world and the reason I keep going. I am so deeply sorry that I wasn’t always the mother I could have been, or what you truly deserved. But if it weren’t for you two, I wouldn’t be here today. I know my own struggles got the best of me at times, but please know that I was always trying my best with what I had.

I look forward to the future and to being the best grandma I can be to your children. I am so incredibly proud of both of you for the beautiful, kind-hearted people you’ve become. I know you will each go on to make a real difference in the world, and I only hope I’ll be there to see all the amazing things you accomplish.

I will love you both until my last breath, and you can always count on me to be here for you.

Love always,
Your mama
